Surprised by the title of the post, I was also surprised when I came across an article in Architecture Digest.How many of us know that there are as close as 50 replicas of Eiffel tower located outside Paris ? I list out my favourite replicas in this post which are worth a visit.
Tianducheng, China:
Tianducheng is a housing estate in the suburbs of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China which has a strikingly similar replica of Eiffel Tower.The 164-acre area, dubbed 'Paris of the East', is designed to house 10,000 people in French neoclassical-style buildings.All buildings are centred around a mini Eiffel Tower, the town's crowned jewel.The Tianducheng Eiffel Tower is about one-third the size of the original and stands at 354 ft (108 m) tall.

Paris Las Vegas is a hotel and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. As the theme is the city of Paris, it includes a half scale, 540 ft (164.6 m) tall replica of the Eiffel Tower which offers the highest viewpoint of Las Vegas Strip.

Tokyo Tower, Tokyo City, Japan:
Last but certainly not the least,Tokyo Tower in Japan is infact taller than the real Eiffel Tower.Tokyo Tower is 333 m while the real Eiffel Tower is 324 m.Tokyo Tower has two observatories. The first one (Called Main Observatory) is at a height of 150 meters which offers a 360 degrees view of the Kanto region. The Special Observatory is located at a height of 250 meters. This floor features a glass bottom floor section, and you can view not just the city but also Mount Fuji and Mount Tsukuba.
